After my internship at Urbanhub Innovations, I wanted to take on a new challenge. At our college, there was this media club called YHITE YIASCM. It was part of the computer science department and was becoming a big deal. Their work was so good that other colleges started asking them to cover their events.
I thought they deserved a website to showcase everything they were doing, so I pitched the idea to them. They loved it, and I got started right away. I worked on the frontend, while a classmate handled the backend using Flask.
I spent hours working on the website—literally from 9 AM to 6 PM most days. I’d sit in the same spot, focused on making it perfect. It was a lot of work, but I didn’t mind because I wanted it to turn out great.
When the website was finally done, we launched it during the college’s annual day in front of over 1,000 people. Seeing everyone’s reactions made all those long hours worth it. The team was thrilled, and I was proud of what we accomplished together.
This wasn’t just a project for me—it was a chance to learn, collaborate, and create something meaningful.
